I’ve been sitting on this track for quite a while, and although I’d say it still needs a little work, it’s basically ready for vocals now.

I have like, 10-15 unfinished ideas for songs. Like, 8 or 16 bar loop sections with wicked tunes which I’ve not been fucked enough to finish. I doubt I’m the only person with a folder like this, so I propose that we exchange an unfinished song with each other. We finish each others song and post it as a collaboration between the two users. Nice fast way to finish all those unfinished songs, and also to expand your fanbase at the same time!
This was a similar affair to the last thing I posted >_<
I made this to cheer up a close friend. I know it’s really bad, but that’s not the point. It’s her saying “Mraaghh” which was like, a little thing me and her and another friend had as a thing. It’s called “Don’t stop Mraaagh-ing”
I seem to be going through lots of old files these last few days….
Just going through my soundcloud tracks and remembered this. Made it ages ago, but it’s still one of my favorite tracks I’ve made.

Been working on this for a couple of hours. I need to get a bit more sub on that bass and generally tighten it up. Also, that snare could be snappier. Also, need to finish writing some vocals and get Jo over to record it.
I wan’t to be completely self-employed by the beginning of 2013. For you, that means very high quality recording at an astoundingly cheap price so that I can build a portfolio of top notch recordings to show to future clients(You keep all rights, I will not charge and you will be given links to your websites/buy pages/facebook pages/whatever) and hopefully you’ll be so impressed with the professional yet very personal service I give you that you’ll continue to use me for your future projects.
I am offering the first 3 people who get in contact with me and book a recording session my services for one of your songs for £60. Taking into account recording, mixing and any production you may want, this would usually cost upwards of £120 for a fully finished, professional standard recording of a song. £60 is a flat rate for the first three customers.
On top of that, if you wish to record more than one song, I will offer you cheaper rates after your first song for all of your sessions as my way of saying thank you for helping me get my dream off the ground.
I am based near Portslade Train Station in Brighton, UK. I cannot record your entire band here. I’m offering this to small acts, for example, a singer with a guitar, or a guitarist who’s trying to record a Steve Vai style track, or a singer who writes songs and wants to record the vocals and work on a backing track. I’ve got experience recording Rock, Metal, Hip Hop, Dance, Electro, Drum and Bass, Remixing songs, Pop, Acoustic stuff, Indie bands, Jazz, Choir and even entire Radio Shows. I can record your spoken word pieces, I can dub your voice-overs for video projects. I can assist you in production and mixing on songs you’ve already started. I’ll even work with you in general if you’d like and give you my input from experience. I have 2 years experience recording bands in a Brighton based recording studio, as well as a year and a half teaching Digital Music Production along-side teachers from Access to Music College. I’m confident I can provide you with pretty much anything you need.
If you wish to record a full band, I can do it, but I need to arrange it with another recording studio that I work with. They take a cut of the money, so I’m afraid I can’t offer you this deal on that, although if you do want to record a band, I promise I’ll still offer you the best price you’ll find for what I offer.
You can contact me either by sending me an Ask in my inbox with your email address or mobile number or some way of contacting you more officially. Or you can send me an email on Wavefrontrecords@gmail.com

I made this just now. It is the music that must play whenever I enter a room or any social situation. Wherever possible, just the backing track will play and I’ll enter whilst playing the solo, preferably with pyrotechnics going off around me whilst a layer of dry ice surrounds my feet.
I am a shiny golden god.
That is all.

Reblogging because I miss working on this. I need to repair my Ibanez so I have a floating trem again. The trem on my Fender Strat is good, but it’s just not metal enough.
I’m unemployed! Yaaaay! This is both brilliant and terrible! Great beacuse I hated my job and couldn’t quit because of my contract and out of guilt that my boss spent £2500 on training courses, plus hotels and train tickets to get me to them. It also means I get to pursue music further. Terrible because it means I have £1000 roughly until I can start making money from recording etc.
Please send anybody you know who needs recording my way. Doesn’t even need to be music, if you need space to record a radio show, or spoken word material, or even sound design and audio folleying for video and film, I’m your man.
